Mountain View Angus in Bottineau, ND

We do not creep feed our bulls. In October, we weigh, worm, and vaccinate all the calves with 4-way and 7-way. We start the yearling bulls on a growing ration that consists of whole oats and alfalfa hay in early December. We try to keep Average Daily Gain between 2 to 3 pounds a day. Our higher roughage rations helps to grow our bulls at a more moderate pace which insures sound structure and promotes better fertility for the breeding season.
